A classic linen half apron, with extra long waist ties to accommodate many different, beautiful bodies. This apron is double-thick, and evokes a practical and timeless look. Perfect for gathering + harvesting, and for wiping busy hands (having a garment that is basically a towel is the best).
Linen wears in beautifully as it’s used, and breaks in according to the shape of your body. I love the elegant, casual drape of a worn-in linen garment—this is one of my favorite things about linen: it improves with regular use, age and wear.

Made from a medium weight Oeko-Tex linen & woven in a mill run on green energy. The dyes used on the cloth are GOTS certified.
Wash separately, or with like colors, in cold water with a gentle laundry soap & line dry. This is how I wash all my clothes and linens, as I find it to be effective, environmentally responsible, and reduces wear & fading of clothing. However, linen is a durable fiber, and I know many folks who wash & tumble dry on low with good results. Iron as desired on medium heat, with steam. I never iron my linen garments, I love the beautiful texture & depth of the wrinkles + folds of normal wear.
50 x 50 cm (not including waist ties)
waist ties: 100cm long each
note: I currently use 100% polyester sewing thread as I haven’t found a natural alternative that holds up with normal wear & tear. Optimally I would use biodegradable thread made from a natural fiber, but have not yet found one that holds up, or possibly recycled polyester thread. I’ve reflected deeply about this choice, but ultimately I believe durability is important here, and will continue to use polyester thread until I find a better alternative.
