I created this apron to be a kind of hybrid between the peasant apron (discontinued) and the cross-back apron. I love the comfort and ease of the cross-back straps, and the beauty of an apron with a gathered skirt. Generous patch pockets add to the practicality of this garment. With an open, free back and adjustable shoulder ties, this garment is designed to fit all shapes & sizes!
Wash separately, or with like colors, in cold water with a gentle laundry soap & line dry. This is how I wash all my clothes and linens, as I find it to be effective, environmentally responsible, and reduces wear & fading of clothing. However, linen is a durable fiber and I know many folks who wash & tumble dry on low with good results. Iron as desired on medium heat, with steam. I never iron my linen garments, I love the beautiful texture & depth of the wrinkles + folds of normal wear. I've also found that the high quality linens I use for all my garments wrinkle & crease differently (more beautifully!) than cheaper linens.
